September 2, 2010 Help these Wichita students raise money to take WWII veterans to Washington! Students at Pleasant Valley Middle School will be spending two days escorting World War II veterans to the national WWII Memorial in Washington, D.C., and learning firsthand about the war that turned back Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. The kids will provide constant company and assistance to the veterans, many of whom are in frail health. They've been working hard to raise the money for the trip and are close to their goal, but they need your help!
